Living in Luxury by the Lake – my 3-day retreat
I spent three incredibly relaxing days in Chalet II, a lakeside chalet built for privacy and calm. Surrounded by clear water, towering peaks, and the silence of nature, the Luxury Lakeside Chalet Priesteregg offers the perfect escape where time seems to pause.
Facilities & Design of the Luxury Lakeside Chalet Priesteregg
The chalet is a tribute to the good life by the water. Inside, you’ll find a spacious living area with a designer kitchen island, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, and a cozy lounge that instantly makes you feel at home. There are up to two bedrooms, either open or separated by sliding doors, allowing you to choose between privacy or an airy, open feel.
The private wellness bathroom is like a small spa: a freestanding bathtub with views of the lake, three showers, and a unique Dornbracht high-tech shower in the master bedroom. Natural materials and elegant details create a luxurious yet warm atmosphere.

Step outside and you’re greeted by a crystal-clear natural swimming pond. In the morning, take a refreshing dip; in the evening, soak in the hot tub while stargazing. The chalet’s private deck is the perfect place to let time stand still.
You’ll also find a panoramic sauna with a glass front right on the water, a wood-fired hot tub on the pier, and comfortable loungers in the garden area – even on windy or rainy days, outdoor wellness here is pure bliss.

Start your day with a sunrise salutation overlooking alpine forests, or unwind in the evening with a gentle yin session surrounded by the sounds of nature.
